	The Schooling-on-the-Ground Centre is located at Penrose in the Southern Highlands of NSW, overlooking the Morton National Park down to Jervis Bay. Next to Penrose is lovely Bundanoon with a wide range of accommodation, cafes and restaurants. Situated half way between Sydney and Canberra it is a 1.5 hour drive to both and some 35 minutes to Goulburn or Bowral. The Centre, opened in December 2004, is purpose built for Schooling-on-the-Ground and offers: 20m x 40m fenced dressage arena 18m round yard 3 km-training track on the property (the "muscle trail") Saddle up area 6 airy but sheltered stables for student's horses 3 stables for our school master horses Spacious holding yard Float parking area Day-room for breaks and theory lessons Our beautiful day-room is set up for having lunch and, over a cup of tea, theory lessons. Yummy and inexpensive lunch is locally available as well as cold drinks. Tea and coffee making facilities on site. All stables are equipped with Nalanji Perfect Flooring requiring no bedding. A water trough and a feed bin are provided in each stable. We feed the horses up to 4x daily. In or near Penrose there is plenty of accommodation, suiting all pockets and needs.
